Terms & Conditions of Treatment

1. Bookings & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required for all treatment appointments. This must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the appointment, or the booking will be cancelled.

  • For skin consultations and skin analysis appointments, full payment is required in advance. This is redeemable against a future treatment or product, unless otherwise stated. No refunds will be issued for these appointments.

  • Appointments may be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance, subject to availability. Deposits and advance payments are non-refundable, including if rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice.

  • If a treatment requires specific products, and you book on the day, after 5pm Friday, or during the weekend, your appointment may be subject to rescheduling. This is due to stock availability and ordering times. You will be contacted promptly if this applies.

  • Appointments cannot be booked more than 2 months in advance.

2. Consultations, Suitability & Documentation

  • Consultations are strongly recommended for all new clients and may be mandatory for some treatments. This ensures medical suitability, adequate planning, and informed consent.

  • A consultation will be carried out on the day of any treatment. Should any contraindications arise, the practitioner reserves the right to decline or postpone the procedure in the interest of your health and safety.

  • Treatments are only available to individuals aged 18 and over. If there is any uncertainty regarding your age, photo identification may be requested at the discretion of the practitioner.

  • If a treatment is deemed unsuitable for you, the practitioner reserves the right to decline treatment. Alternative options, including referral to another healthcare provider, may be suggested.

  • All client information and treatment notes are stored in secure, confidential medical files, in line with best practice standards for aesthetic record-keeping.

3. Clinic Conduct & Attendance

  • At our Ware location, there is no waiting area. Clients are asked to arrive at their scheduled time and wait outside if early, unless otherwise instructed.

  • Due to the nature of the treatments and the products used, children are not permitted in the clinic room. Clients must attend alone unless a support person is pre-approved by the practitioner.

  • Clients will be provided with written and/or verbal aftercare following treatment. It is the client’s responsibility to follow all instructions provided.

  • In the event of a post-treatment concern or complication, a 24/7 emergency contact number will be provided during consultation. This should be used promptly to ensure appropriate care.

4. Photography, Marketing & Communication

  • All clients are required to have pre- and post-treatment photographs taken as part of their medical documentation. These will be stored securely and not used for any other purpose unless consent is given.

  • With written consent, photographs may be used for marketing, education, or social media purposes. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

  • Clients may contact the clinic via email, telephone, or social media. While we aim to respond as quickly as possible, please allow up to 48 hours for a response.

  • By booking an appointment, you will be automatically subscribed to our marketing and communications list. You may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails.

5. Treatment Outcomes, Complications & Refunds

  • All risks, side effects, and expected outcomes will be explained to the client prior to treatment. Clients will be asked to provide informed verbal and/or written consent before proceeding.

  • Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that you understand this.

  • We do not offer refunds for treatments where outcomes do not meet client expectations.

  • Any complications arising will be managed appropriately and professionally. Clients must notify the clinic promptly if concerns arise.

  • Clients are required to update the clinic regarding any changes to their health or medication prior to any subsequent appointment.

6. Professional Rights & Conduct

  • The clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment if the client is deemed unsuitable, behaves inappropriately, or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Abusive or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. In such cases, treatment will be declined, and no refund will be issued.

  • Clients agree to behave respectfully and in line with the standards expected in a medical clinical setting.

7. Legal & Company Information

  • Semblance Aesthetics is a limited company registered in the UK under company number 14512570.

  • All services provided are compliant with UK aesthetic and healthcare regulations.

  • This document is reviewed regularly and may be updated without notice. The current version is always available upon request or at www.semblanceaesthetics.co.uk.
