Chemical peels are applied to the surface of the skin. We use medical-grade products and professional peels, depending on the depth of the peel, they penetrate into the layers of the skin in order to provoke a response which will promote new skin cells and repair the skin, therefore improving the appearance of the skin and its integrity.
We offer a variety of peel solutions to treat different skin conditions and at different depths and strengths from very superficial to medium depth.​

Treatment Process
If not already chosen, your peel will be discussed and chosen during your consultation and will depend on varying lifestyle factors. Your skin will be prepared and then peel applied, 1-2 layers will be applied depending on skin and tolerability which can be increased each session. Your skin journey with these treatments will be monitored and reviewed regularly to ensure it remains suitable, this will be with the Observ 520x (if applicable) and through contact.
Treatment Areas
Peels can be applied mostly anywhere, there is even a specific peel for female intimate areas.
Most peels are applied to the face, décolletage, chest and back where there may be areas of pigmentation or scarring.
The peel would be adjusted depending on the area treated due to difference in skin integrity and/or sensitivity.
Suitability & Downtime
Mostly suitable for all skin types. Some peels require at least 2 weeks of skin preparation prior. Darker skin tones may require additional skin preparation to avoid the risk of developing further pigmentation. You must not have had any extreme sun exposure at least 2-4 weeks before and must not be planning to be directly in the sun after or inbetween treatments, therefore caution during the hotter months is advised. Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. Not suitable for broken skin, recent isotretinoin medication, psoriasis or extreme sensitivity/eczema. Downtime is minimal to moderate depending on peel strength and depth. Expect some redness, mild flaking or peeling for up to 7 days as well a feeling of tightness to the skin.
